Lee Glasson performing a cover of Kylie Minogue’s classic hit “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” during the Blind Auditions on The Voice UK (Season 3, broadcast by BBC).
Rather than sticking to the dance-pop style of the original 2001 release, Lee transforms the track into a dramatic, acoustic-driven ballad. Standing on stage accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, he delivers a stripped-down, soulful interpretation that highlights his vocal control and emotional depth.
Key Moments in the Performance
-
A Unique Reimagining: Glasson slows down the tempo and alters the phrasing, changing a upbeat pop track into an intimate performance.
-
The Coaches’ Reactions: As he sings, coaches Sir Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson, will.i.am, and Kylie Minogue listen closely to his interpretation.
-
Kylie Minogue’s Moment: Because it is her own signature song being performed, Kylie watches with particular interest before hitting her button to turn her chair, followed by other coaches.
-
Audience & Family Reaction: The video captures the reactions of the studio audience and Glasson’s family celebrating backstage as the chairs turn.
